Even if you think he’s just making commercial music, it’s pretty darn good music. Here’s the Metafilter thread.

Now rocking the ICScrewD ROM on my Samsung Galaxy S II. Still running Gingerbread, but with lots of Ice Cream Sandwich pieces, including Roboto. Seems to be pretty fast (can overclock to 1.6GHz) with good battery life.ICScrewDCustom ROM for AT&T Galaxy S2 from Plus Public Activity Feed for eric Farris https://plus.google.com/105514880556152594167/posts/SdhBqRB1iRR

More on Apple and ZFS, speculation on iOS →
ZFS on iOS? Actually, that makes quite a bit of sense. Lots of good things could come from this. Backups and snapshots are mentioned, but how about removable storage as well? My Android phone has an internal “sd card” and a removable one. This occasionally is confusing to both me and the OS. A ZFS “pool” could easily solve this problem.

Best Ex-CEO ever. I had long thought that, as both Bill and Steve matured, that they would draw closer together as friends. I had envisioned a grand philanthropic effort led by the two men and their millions in their old age. Alas, Steve died in his fifties.
